No-one should be cold or hungry this winter!

Today is the start of winter warming in Connecticut. For the next 4 months shelters like Cornerstone take on additional shelter residents so they are out of the cold. We are expecting to house about 45 people in our three shelters. You have shown your support for our mission to keep people safe, fed, housed and clothed with your past donations. Supporters like you have helped change peoples' lives when they get services that help them find housing, feed their families, and get the support they need at their lowest.

Cornerstone operates the only family triage (short term) shelter in Hartford and Tolland County. Families are living in parks, under bridges, or if they are lucky, in their car. We try to take in as many as we can and so far we have been able to keep families from being outdoors because financial support from people like you. There are still adults outside and we make sure they have hot meals daily at the Community Kitchen and warm clothes and blankets to try and stay warm until they can get into a shelter.

Can you make a year end donation today to help us provide life saving services for these families and adults? The number of people we have coming to us for help is rising every day in all of our mission programs.. We are so grateful for people like you who have kept the doors of Cornerstone open for 40 years. Your support is needed more than ever!

Thank you for being a partner with Cornerstone in providing a safety net for families in need.
