We need your help!
We added 100 new people to our Food Cupboard list in July 2023, The Community Kitchen is serving about 1200 more meals per month than the beginning of 2023 Our numbers are rising substantially across all of our programs. Almost every day we have to turn away people from our shelters because we have reached capacity. At the same time costs for utilities, insurance, gas for vehicles, and wages have also risen. There have been unexpected delays in funds we expected to receive. All of these issues have led to our resources being perilously thin.
You have been a supporter of our mission to keep people fed, sheltered, and clothed. We usually ask for your support in late August or early September but we can't wait any ;longer. We need your help to get us through this rough patch so we don't have to turn people away or reduce the services we provide.
If you can make a donation today, you will be helping us to help people in our community who are barely getting by. We are always looking for new sources of revenue from grants and government programs but our biggest source of income is our generous donors.
